Choose Your Hard.

How many times have you said to yourself, I must lose some weight, you feel self conscious, your habits and fitness, as you feel weak and unhealthy?

How many times have you said to yourself that it was high time to make a change in your eating, because clothes don’t fit any more, making you avoid social occasions?
How many times have you said to yourself I’m going to start my diet tomorrow and be in better shape for Christmas?

I could go on and on…

The truth?

It’s hard feeling crap about yourself, its hard when your mood is affected by how you feel about your self image. I know most of you reading this have at sometime made a promise to yourself that you didn’t keep. But here’s the thing… YOU CAN CHANGE IT! BUT and its a BIG BUT…

It’s also hard to reduce your calories and say no to the food, drink and nights out that you know contribute to your excess weight.

It’s hard to prep your meals when you could have a takeaway.
It’s hard having to exercise when you’re tired and you’d rather be tucked up snuggly at home.
If it were easy we would all be healthy, fit and lean. But we’re not! ‘Cos it’s hard. It requires effort – and not just for a few days or weeks. It requires effort consistently.

Get real with yourself.
Pressure isn’t just for tyres! You have to place pressure on yourself in order to make changes.
Change doesn’t come from living inside the comfort zone that got you into the shape that you are currently unhappy with.
Thankfully my clients acknowledge, accept and make a commitment to lifelong change not a quick fix or 6 week shred! No fluff, no fads, no untruths – just facts.
Yes, its hard but its bloody worth it.
