The other day, I started telling you about Winnie…
My lovely client, who’s a secondary school teacher…
And how a cruel comment from a group of students sent her spiralling.
Well, she wasn’t going to be beaten.
She took the upset, anger and embarrassment she felt and turned it into the dark energy she needed to get going! 👿
But first, we needed a detailed plan…
What I pointed out to Winnie, in the kindest possible way, was that she was putting obstacles in her own way…
A lack of time…
A poorly stocked school canteen…
And her other responsibilities.
So I asked her a question which some of you may consider rather blunt…
“When you go back to school in January, do you want to be looking back on 3 months of excuses or 3 months of progress?”
It’s a stark reminder of how black and white these decisions can be, when you want them to be.
I assured her that we would find a way but that I couldn’t want it more than she did.
She rose to the challenge 🔥
You see, it’s my job as a professional coach to make the whole process feel simpler and seamless…
That doesn’t mean it will be easy…
But I will take the guesswork and uncertainty out of it for you so that you can focus on showing up for yourself.
That’s the beauty of a professional coaching programme.
And that is what our Winnie really leaned into and took full advantage of.
She is now focused on reaching her goals by the end of the year. Why?
So that she can walk through the school gates after the holidays and hear the jaws drop at the sight of the new, improved Winnie…
She knows she’s going to feel amazing…
And, so what if it took a little dark energy to get her started?
Show me a woman who’s never used that to her advantage in her life, right? 😉
So, I’m going to turn the same question back on you…
Yes, you… Sitting there reading this post with a sharing bag of Wotsits…😂
I see you! 🤣🤣🤣
Are the next 3 months going to be filled with excuses or progress?
I’d love to help you decide…
Much love,
Tara
