Do you remember the good old days?
When we could eat whatever we liked and not gain weight…
Drink like fish until 2 am with no consequences…
And our only exercise was dancing on 5” heels once a week.
So many of my clients come to me mourning the young woman they used to be…
“I used to be so slim!”… They cry.
(Conveniently forgetting that you probably used to be insecure, have no confidence and very little self-belief too.)
You had no wisdom, probably made poor decisions…
And you probably weren’t all that comfortable in that skin of yours – even if it was a smaller size 😂
As women, I believe we need to embrace the many huge positives of being more mature.
I don’t know about you, but I’m way more self-assured than I was as 20…
I know what I want, what I like and what I don’t like.
I’ve worked out the sort of people that I want to be around…
And have no problems dodging the ones that I don’t! 😂
I worry way less about what people think…
And trust my own judgement far more than I ever did as a young woman.
Revive & Thrive has foundations built in self-belief, confidence and feeling self-assured…
Ok, so we maybe don’t move quite as quickly as we once did…
And I’m definitely ready for bed by 10 pm…😴
But so fecking what?!
I say we embrace the women we are today and happily wave goodbye to the past…
The view from here is pretty sweet, in my opinion…🥰
