Have you all the gear but no idea?

January: Motivation is 100%. Buzzing at the start of January to wear your new Apple Watch, swing your new kettlebells and train harder in your new go-fast trainers.

February: the Apple Watch reminders ‘to move’ are switched off, the kettlebell is propping open a door, and the new trainers are still bright white!

Here are the top 3 problems with dieters:

They want to get thinner but don’t want to have to put the work in for more than two weeks! We want it all yesterday. Sorry, it doesn’t work that way.

Thinking you burn more calories than you do and underestimate the daily calories they consume. Sorry that 3-mile walk only burned 220 calories, and your breakfast bowl of granola was 850 calories!

Diet on too little calories. Why diet on 1200 calories when you can lose weight on 1700 calories. On MyFitnessPal everyone opts for the ‘2lbs a week’ loss until you try to adhere to the calories that it takes to lose 2lbs a week – a whole different story. If you have a few stones to lose, you will never sustain dating on such low calories for the duration of your fat loss journey. Patience is the problem. We don’t want to have to wait for it.

WEIGHTLOSS FACT
There are 3500 calories in A POUND OF FAT. See above image which is 1 pound of fat.
To lose a pound, you must reduce calories by 3500 per week or 500 per day under maintenance calories.
To gain a pound, you must eat 3500 calories per week or 500 per day over and above maintenance (not dieting) calories to gain a pound of fat.

Its math. Now your calorie counting app helps count the numbers, get those nice new white trainers on, set your daily step count to 10k per day, and start swinging the kettlebell to make your body stronger and healthier.
