What type of dieter are you?

What type of dieter you are…

Sound interesting? Thought so 😊

Let’s take a look…

Are you driven by an image you have in your head?

How you’re going to look in “that dress” you’ve always fancied…

Are you focused on the end result?

The day you get to your target weight and hit your fitness goals…

And maybe wear something you’d not have worn before?

If you answered “yes” to the above, the chances are that you are a results-driven dieter.

This is fab, but it shouldn’t be your whole viewpoint…

The problem with being results driven is that sometimes results just don’t happen when you expect them to…

If you’re not prepared for this, it can come as a crushing blow…

And send you spiralling out of control…

Reaching for the nearest Big Mac and a bottle of Chardonnay to drown your sorrows.

Then there’s the other camp…

These dieters are less scales focused…

The kind of women who consider an increase in strength a huge win…

A raised fitness level as incredibly valuable…

These ladies actively seek out the small wins…

Like not being as out of breath when you run up the stairs…

They tend to look for non-scale victories.

And see themselves as a “whole” rather than just the size on a clothing label.

If this approach feels more like you, you are clearly a progress-driven dieter…

In my experience, these people tend to make long-term lifestyle changes more than results-driven people…

They tend to be more patient…

Less bothered by the scales…

And more even-keeled, allowing them to rise and fall with the waves of their fitness journeys.

Inside my programme, we focus on just being 1% better…

On progress… No matter how small it might seem…

We know that great oaks from little acorns grow…

We aren’t going anywhere… We’re here for the long haul…

So, which one are you?
